Pyramids allows you to create and customize population pyramids to fulfill your demographic infographic fantasies!

You can:
- Create as many population pyramids as you want
- Add as many groupings to them as youd like and rearrange those groupings with ease
- Customize the colors, fonts, appearances
- Easily export the images as .png or .pdf
- Automatically import data from the US Census Bureaus International database
- Drag pyramids into other OS X apps that support receiving dragged files (Mail, Pages, Keynote, etc.)
- Impress your friends, coworkers, and family with your demographic prowess
- Use it to teach students about demography in different parts of the world
Pyramids is a simple app that does one thing and tries to do it well. I built it out of the need to create pyramid diagrams and due to frustrations with the available tools.
Help me help you: if you need features that arent here, please let me know and I will evaluate their inclusion in a future release.
p.s. The fonts that appear in the font menu depend on what you have installed on your machine. Some of those fonts may look silly when used in this application. You may lose karma points for using MS Comic Sans.
